・本人は"There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, 'Enough is enough.' For me, that time is now."と述べ、これはUSADAによる"unconstitutional witch hunt"だと主張

・Armstrong氏はTour de Franceでは1999~2005まで7連覇を達成するも、"win-at-all costs approach(勝利至上主義)"がもたらした副作用も大きかった可能性も
